Army troops conducts Civic Action Program in Patikul Sulu

The 35th Infantry Battalion, commanded by Ltc Wilfredo B. Borgonia Jr, joined the 11th Infantry Division’s Civic Action Program at So Amman, Brgy Bangkal, Patikul, Sulu on July 23, 2021.

The 11th Infantry Division and Joint Task Force Sulu Commander, MGen William N. Gonzales, the 1102nd Brigade Commander, BGen Benjamin G. Batara Jr, the Municipality of Patikul, Mayor Kabir E. Hayudini, the Ministry of Public Order and Safety-BARMM, Atty AL Rashid L. Balt, Region IX DSWD, and Brgy. Bangkal, Hon. Tanda S. Hailid, were all present at the event.

The RHU of Patikul also gives free check-ups for youngsters in conjunction with Nutrition Month, therefore the unit fed So Amman. The children who completed their check-ups successfully received sweets and chocolates from the facility.

As the regiment formed bonds with the town, everyone could see the people’s joy and enthusiasm as the Army provided services.

“It is the joy that we bring to the people that our community are slowly becoming a better place to live in.”
