Army, police assisted in the construction of fishpond in Zamboanga del Norte

The Army’s 97th Infantry “Kalasaglahi” Battalion (97thIB) and the Community Support Program (CSP) team of the Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Company (ZNPMFC) assisted residents in creating a fishpond in Barangay New Rizal, Sergio Osmea, Zamboanga del Norte on Sunday (July 25, 2021).

This effort is preparing Barangay New Rizal for the government’s livelihood program, which involves fishing agricultural production.

The team began digging at 7:00 AM and concluded at 3:00 PM, excavating over 2000 square feet of pond with a length of 5.0 feet, a width of 3.0 feet, and a depth of 0.6 feet.

This activity aims to assist residents of the said barangay in the successful implementation of the government’s livelihood initiative, which will benefit people of Barangay New Rizal.
