Army, private corporation conducts medical mission in Zamboanga del Sur

The CC & MMM Lending Corporation, in collaboration with the Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) and 1st Infantry “Tabak” Division (1ID), organized a Medical Outreach Program in Barangay Betinan, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur on Saturday (July 31).

An oplan tuli and free dental service, haircut, and checkup were part of the medical outreach campaign. CC & MMM Lending Corporation CEO Marilou Felicia, together with Lt. Col. Romulo Aujero, 1Lt. Cheveen Ocden, and 53IB Charlie Company Commander 1Lt. Albin Ibarra, spearheaded the program.

This effort is part of the 53IB’s goal of becoming a world-class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028, as outlined in the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
