Community pantry established for underprivileged communities

The CC-MMM Lending Corporation in partnership with the Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) organized a community pantry in barangays Calubi and Concepcion in San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur on August 15, 2021.

The activity was spearheaded by CC-MMM Lending Corporation CEO Marilou Felicia together with 53IB Charlie Company Executive Officer 2Lt. Kim Cedrick Lemus and Barangay Officials of said barangays.

The involvement of the Matapat Troopers in this action is part of the 53IB’s goal of becoming a world-class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028, as outlined in the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
