The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) District NCR – Central Luzon built on Wednesday (August 25, 2021) its first PCG radio repeater in Tagaytay City’s “Palace in the Sky.”

The initiative was launched in response to the activation of the first PCG radio repeater center in Luzon, which was located in Tagaytay City. The PCG District NCR – Central Luzon, the PCG Station Cavite, and the PCG Communications, Electronics, and Information Systems Command all helped tremendously.

The PCG Radio Repeater Center has a maximum range of 50 nautical miles, allowing it to improve maritime law enforcement, maritime safety, and maritime security in the waters surrounding Mindoro, Subic, Lubang Island, Quezon Province, Manila Bay, and Laguna de Bay.
