The Bravo Company of the Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) on Thursday (August 26, 2021) performed a feeding program in Barangay Saad, a geographically isolated and underprivileged barangay in the municipality of Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur.

Terrorists from the CPP-NPA once preyed on Barangay Saad. On May 19, 2020, it was certified “cleared” of communist-terrorist influence.
