A new batch of 51 Marine Reservists from the provinces of Zambales and Pangasinan finished the Marine Reservist Orientation Training (MROT) on Saturday, September 11, 2021.

The Basic School hosted the program in July 2021, which included a mix of lectures and intensive physical exercises. Its goal was to provide new reservists with the essential information and military skills, as well as to improve their capabilities and preparedness so that they could seamlessly integrate into the Regular Force.

“You are all the first responders in humanitarian assistance and disaster response in your respective area of responsibility and we are partners in nation-building,” reminded Marine Commandant MGen Ariel R. Caculitan PN(M) who presided over the traditional emblem ceremony that capped the training.
