PCG conducts dental mission, feeding program in Cagayan de Oro

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) District Northern Mindanao and the 1001st PCG Auxiliary Squadron on Friday (October 8, 2021) visited the House of Joy in Bontong, Camaman-an, Cagayan de Oro City to undertake a dental mission, feeding program, and gift-giving.

Bath towels, shampoo, antibacterial soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, and sanitary napkins were distributed to a total of 38 people. They also got school supplies to help them with their online studies.

During the mission, PCG personnel examined the children’s teeth and advised them on how to maintain proper dental hygiene.
