Philippine Army’s 24IB assists in relief goods distribution to Tropical Storm Maring victims

The Tanging Yaman Foundation aided the 24th Infantry Battalion (24IB) of the 7th Infantry Division in providing relief goods to the victims of Tropical Storm Maring in Abra on October 21, 2021.

The relief packs were picked up and transported by military trucks from Quezon City to the several barangays of Bangued, Dolores, and Lagangilang in Abra.

Lt. Gen. Andres C. Centino, the Commanding General of the Philippine Army, emphasized the necessity of aiding one another through difficult times. As a result, he extended his gratitude to the military and other stakeholders who assisted the Tropical Storm Maring victims.

“The Philippine Army is thankful to 24IB and all stakeholders for the continuous collaboration that uplifts the lives of the TS Maring victims. Rest assured that the PA will remain a committed partner of every Filipinos both in time of peace and calamities,” Lt. Gen. Centino said.
