The Philippine Army’s 401st Infantry Brigade (401Bde) under the 4th Infantry Division neutralized two CPP-NPA Terrorists (CNTs) in a series of gunfights against 40 CNTs at Barangay Villa Undayon, Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur on November 7, 2021.

Two CNTs, both members of the Northeastern Regional Committee (NEMRC)’s Regional Sentro de Grabidad (RSDG), were killed in a series of gunfights.

Two high-powered firearms, ammunition, and two commercial radios were recovered by operating troops. They also confiscated anti-personnel mines, a portable generator, medical supplies, and five cellphones.

Meanwhile, Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Centino urged the rebels to lay down their arms and give up the fight.

“While we are successful in our operations, I hope that the communist insurgency will end soon so that no more Filipino will die in vain,” he said in an exclusive that aired over the weekend.
