Philippine Navy ships participate in AJEX DAGIT-PA in Western Visayas

BRP Antonio Luna (FF151) and BRP Tarlac (LD601) of the Philippine Navy departed Pier 13, South Harbor, Manila, for the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ Joint Exercise (AJEX) “DAGIT-PA” 05-21 Maritime and Amphibious Operations, which would be held off the coast of Western Visayas.

FF151 and LD601 carried about 400 AFP soldiers from the Philippine Navy, Philippine Army, Philippine Air Force, and Naval Reserve Force to participate in the exercise. The Philippine Marine Corps’ amphibious assault vehicles are also on board LD601.

This is one of the AFP’s main exercises, showcasing the force’s capabilities in land, air, and sea operations. The AJEX “DAGIT-PA” is a joint exercise between the Army, Navy, and Air Force to improve interoperability capabilities.
