The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) through the Coast Guard Civil Relations Service (CGCRS) and Coast Guard Aviation Force (CGAF) personally sent donations from Operation Brotherhood Montessori Center (OBMC) Incorporated and Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA).

With the help of CGAF, a group of pilots and staff of Congressman Bingo Matugas, Sunlight Air was able to board 500 pieces of family hygiene kits; 97 pillows; 37 family packs containing canned goods, milk, clothes, and vitamins; 10 blankets; four comforters and one mat intended for victims of Typhoon Odette in the area.

Mayor Proserfina “Baby” Matugas Coro, the mayor of Del Carmen Town, is very grateful for the help extended to them by the PCG, although she is still calling for more help, especially for the shelter of her countrymen.

The plane also carried 47 tourists stranded on the island back to Manila when the typhoon hit.
