For the month of January 2022, Naval Forces Central (NFC), through the medical dispensary at Naval Base Rafael Ramos, supported the inoculation of booster shots against COVID-19 for all Philippine Navy (PN) personnel within the NFC area of responsibility.

The activity was made possible by the Command’s ongoing efforts, which included senior officers, commanding officers, heads of offices, and leading POs encouraging their troops to obtain booster shots. The men and women of NFC, on the other hand, eagerly answered the call for their own personal health and well-being.

Furthermore, with the assistance of health workers, partner stakeholders, and local government units from many cities and provinces, this initiative was effectively completed.

In the Visayas Area, 466 PN personnel received booster shots.

NFC workers are properly vaccinated (1st and 2nd doses) and follow strict health and biosafety protocols in the event of a COVID-19 pandemic.
