Tactical Operations Group facilitates aerial transport of relief goods in Northern Palawan

The Tactical Operations Group 7 in partnership with Provincial Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO) and 4th Air Reserve Center is in continuous conduct of relief operations in the remote areas affected by Typhoon Odette in Northern Palawan.

The Group facilitated the aerial transport of relief goods using two (2) S-70i Blackhawk helicopters with tail numbers 114 and 106 in Calandagan Island, Araceli, Palawan on February 6, 2022.

A total of 5,064.4 lbs of relief goods composed of 21 sacks of rice (25kgs), 50 bags of rice (5kgs), 104 boards of plywood, 24 boxes of paint, 5 boxes of epoxy, and other assorted materials for the repair of fishing boats were handed over to the LGU of Calandagan to be given to the victims of typhoon Odette and fishermen of the island.
