The Philippine Marine Corps received four units of mobile mess (or kitchen) facility in a turnover ceremony presided by the Commandant, MGen. Ariel R. Caculitan PN(M), on February 3, 2022.
This acquisition is aimed at supporting Marine Operating Forces deployed in the field performing various operations, including humanitarian assistance and disaster response, multilateral exercises, focus military operations, and civil-military operations.
MGen. Caculitan recognized this as an essential need and acknowledged the team responsible for this acquisition. The Commandant also thanked the NEWCMP Industrial Builders for partnering with the Marine Corps for this project.
Lt. Col. Charlie A. Domingo Jr. PN(M), the acting Assistant Chief of Staff for Logistics, MC4, confirmed that this project will enhance the sustainment of and forward deployment services for the Marines.
