DND, AFP receives military equipment from China

Secretary Delfin Lorenzana of the Department of National Defense (DND) and Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), General Andres C. Centino PA, accepted the first batch of military equipment from the People’s Republic of China’s Ministry of National Defense (MND) on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.

In a ceremony conducted at Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City, Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian turned over the donation valued RMB76 million or P608 million pesos. Various rescue and relief equipment, transport vehicles, and engineering equipment will be provided to various DND and AFP units as part of the donation.
