Department of National Defense – Philippines Secretary Delfin Lorenzana visited the Naval Special Operations Command (NAVSOCOM) headquarters in Sangley Point, Cavite City, where he witnessed a capability demonstration from the Philippine Navy’s frogmen on Thursday, February 10.
The SND also held a ‘Talk to Troops’ with personnel from The Philippine Fleet, NAVSOCOM, several personnel from the Philippine Marine Corps and the Philippine Air Force’s 15th Strike Wing as a way to boost their morale and discuss important topics related to achieving the PN and Armed Forces of the Philippines’ overall goals and missions.
This visit came shortly after SND Lorenzana led the turnover and acceptance ceremony for four Cessna Skyhawk II trainer aircraft at the hangar of the Naval Air Wing – Philippine Fleet (NAW) headquarters, also in Sangley Point.
