13 CNTs surrender to Philippine Army in Davao de Oro

A total of 13 Communist NPA Terrorists (CNTs) surrendered to Joint Intel Task Group of 1001st Brigade at Purok San Miguel, Brgy. Kidawa, Laak, Davao de Oro on February 26, 2022.

The rebels, who are members of the weakened Guerrilla Front 3, Sub-Regional Committee 4, Southern Mindanao Regional Committee of the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG), handed over 12-assorted high-powered firearms, which includes one low-powered firearms, ammunitions, and other war materials.

The aforementioned task group is composed of the 60th Infantry Battalion, 25th Infantry Battalion, 10th Military Intelligence Battalion, 11th Intelligence Service Unit, and National Intelligence Coordinating Agency 11 under the overall supervision of Commander, 1001Bde.
