Naval Reserve Center – Eastern Visayas together with navy reservists from 822nd Marine Company (Res), 11 Infantry Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division, Philippine Army and its army reservists distributed donated relief goods to Brgy. Sabahan, Bais City, Negros Oriental on February 28, 2022.
The relief items are composed of food packs, sacks of rice, bottles of drinking water and diapers donated by COL GREGORIO BUENVIAJE HERNANDEZ JR PN(M)(GSC), Superintendent, Marine Corps Force Development Center, Headquarters, Philippine Marine Corps.
These items were received by local government officials of the said barangay. Your Navy in the Visayas continuously conducts relief assistance to typhoon-hit barangays/municipalities.
The Visayas Command, through Naval Forces Central, is one with the LGUs and partner stakeholders in bringing prompt, responsive, and effective assistance to the communities affected by the onslaught of Typhoon Odette.
