5 ASG members surrender to 45IB

Five Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) members surrender to the 45th Infantry “Gallant” Battalion (45IB) troopers in Sulu on Monday, June 6, 2022.

Municipal Mayor Kabir E. Hayudini of Patikul, Sulu, through the Municipal Task Force in Ending Local Armed Conflict facilitated the voluntary surrender of 5 ASG members to Maj. Gen. Ignatius Patrimonio, Commander of Joint Task Force (JTF) Sulu in a formal hand-over ceremony held at the 45IB Headquarters in Sulu.

Maj. Gen. Patrimonio urged the peace-loving Suluanons to convince the remaining ASG members to go back to the folds of the law, live their normal lives.
