BRP Antonio Luna on its way to participate in US-led RIMPAC Exercise in Hawaii

Philippine Navy’s guided-missile Frigate, BRP Antonio Luna (FF151) is on its way to participate in the US-led Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) Exercise in Hawaii from 29 June to 04 August 2022.

This is the third participation of the Philippines in the said multinational naval exercise which is held biennially to promote regional stability in the Pacific region. The exercise also aims to develop, maintain, and enhance the Navy’s pursuit of maritime collaboration with its counterparts.

The Jose Rizal Class Frigates are one of the latest and modern assets acquired by the Armed Forces of the Philippines through its AFP Modernization Program in order for the armed forces to fulfill its mandate to protect the people and secure the state.
