Philippine Navy partakes in community outreach program in Zamboanga City

NFWM through it’s CMO team together with the medical team of Camp Navarro General Hospital participated in the Community Outreach Program initiated by Mi Ciudad Cuida and dubbed as A Scouts Initiative and Advocacy with 61st Air Force Reserve Group at San Juan Niño Drive, Brgy. Mampang, Zamboanga City last June 11, 2022.

According to NFWM PAO, the activity was participated by different organizations from the security sector, academe, cause-oriented organizations, and fraternal organizations.

The activity offered free services and goods such as haircut, medical and dental check-up with minor dental treatment, circumcision, distribution of rice, canned goods, and noodles, medicines, and feeding of arroz caldo.

A tree planting activity was also conducted wherein 100 Narra seedlings were planted.
The activity was conducted following existing health protocols to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. — NFWM
