24IB, 102IB extend help to the earthquake victims in Abra

Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) teams of the 24th Infantry “Wildcat” Battalion (24IB) and the 102nd Infantry “Manso” Battalion (102IB) of the 5th Infantry “Startroopers” Division rendered manpower assistance to help the quake-affected families in Abra province.

The HADR teams together with the Philippine National Police facilitate the preparation of the food packs from the Department of Social Welfare and Development to aid the Abra residents in overcoming the 7.3-magnitude earthquake that struck the province on July 27, 2022.

Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., lauded the 24IB and 102IB for their prompt response to extend aid to the affected families of the recent 7.3 magnitude earthquake in Abra to help them cope with this difficult time. — PA
