Central Command holds a blood donation drive

Central Command, Armed Forces of the Philippines, on the commemoration of its 19th Founding Anniversary, conducts a Bloodletting Activity earlier today, 27 November 2020, at Bondad Hall, Headquarters, Central Command, Camp Lapulapu, Cebu City.

The said activity was in partnership with DOH Region 7, Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Visayas (OPAV), and DSWD, advocating the theme “DUGO SA SUNDALO ALANG KANIMO”.

A total of 114 Blood Donors from the Philippine Army, Airforce, and Navy under CENTCOM, including Peacemaker Eagles, have participated in the Blood Letting Activity.

Relatedly, CENTCOM emphasizes its role not just in securing and providing safety for the people in the Visayas but also in helping others who need blood. Through our small way, we could protect others and help save lives.

Lt. Gen. Roberto T. Ancan, Commander Central Command, AFP expressed his support saying, “I express my gratitude for the willingness and compassion of our personnel, the Philippine Army, Airforce and Navy who have participated in today’s Blood Letting Activity, especially to our partner agencies so as to help others who need a blood transfusion.

“We always look for the welfare of the people, and through our small way, we could protect them and help save lives,” Lt. Gen. Ancan added. — Central Command, AFP
